Don't know about you, but this picture does not make me feel any better. This my friends is a Common Pleas Judge from Ohio (his name is James Burge). This is his office. These are his "heroes" - or at least one would presume this since they look over his shoulder as he works.
This guy just ruled that lethal injection is unconstitutional in Ohio because it COULD cause pain (not that it does) and since Ohio mandates a painless death for inmates being executed... well, you get the idea.
I'm sure all those inmates murder victims will be glad to know that these people are being spared all the pain that they themselves inflicted.
With judges like this we are SO screwed.
